Send a Postcard to Space📮
Earth is finite. To protect our gem of a planet and enable a future of abundance and growth, Earth needs space. Write or draw your vision on a postcard for what you think the future of life in space will look like—or any other message you’d like to send to space.
Send your postcard to Club for the Future, we'll launch it to space and back on a New Shepard rocket, and return it to you stamped "Flown to Space." Send us as many postcards as you'd like—we'll fly them all.
6 Easy Steps 💫
1
Your postcard is placed into a payload box and loaded into the crew capsule.
2
New Shepard, Blue Origin’s rocket, launches to space from the West Texas desert.
3
Capsule carrying your postcard separates from the booster as it reaches space.
4
New Shepard’s reusable booster returns for a gentle touchdown on the landing pad
5
Capsule descends to Earth under parachutes after floating in space 100 kilometers above Earth.
6
Postcards are recovered, stamped "Flown to Space," and mailed to you as a space-flown keepsake.

Absolutely! We encourage sending postcards in bulk as it helps mitigate postage costs. We’ll fly boxes or large envelopes of postcards together and return them to you as one bundle. If you’re sending in bulk, the postcard doesn’t have to be a postcard at all. We’re happy to fly postcard-sized paper to keep the cost low for everyone.
Yes, please do! There’s no limit to how many postcards a student can collect and we encourage students to send as many as they'd like. Students can address postcards to themselves, friends, family, and beyond.
Nope, we encourage you to make your own postcard out of whatever you can find—a notecard, back of a cereal box, manila envelope, or a postcard you picked up on a family vacation. Be creative!

Aside from the cost of postage, the program is free. If the cost of postage is a barrier to participation, please reach out to clubforfuture@blueorigin.com.
It varies but we’re committed to flying every postcard we receive and unfortunately aren’t able to provide advance notice. We thank you for your patience.
Due to the high volume of postcards we receive, we aren’t able to guarantee a return date. Just know that our team works very hard to get these returned to you.
Absolutely. We recommend using a Global Forever International U.S. Postage stamp. If you send your postcard without a return postage stamp, we’ll do our best to get it back to you.
Yes, Club for the Future has payload space for postcards on every New Shepard flight for the foreseeable future.
No. We encourage you to send whatever artistic expression you want to share about the future of living and working in space—or any other topic of your choosing. The sky is the limit!
